Case 01
Carrier Platform Launched at Scale
Situation
A leading global technology company was entering the carrier-grade cloud calling market, integrating public telephone networks directly into its enterprise collaboration platform. The opportunity was significant, but the starting point was zero: no carrier onboarding infrastructure, no operational playbook, and no precedent inside the organization for this kind of regulated, multi-party technical program.
Complication
Carrier partnerships operate on long contractual cycles, strict compliance requirements, and very low tolerance for operational errors. Building relationships with 100+ carriers across 60+ markets simultaneously, while also standing up the underlying platform architecture, required a level of program coordination that the organization had never attempted in this domain. The margin for error was essentially none.
Approach
Led the end-to-end program from inception: designed the carrier onboarding framework, established SLA governance structures, and built the cross-functional delivery model spanning engineering, legal, carrier relations, and product. Created the operational cadences and escalation paths that allowed the program to scale without losing quality or compliance integrity at each new carrier added.
Outcome
The platform scaled to over 2 million active users across more than 100 carrier partnerships in 60+ global markets. It became the primary cloud calling integration path for enterprise customers, a new business line built from scratch to global scale.
